Small Identities: Muslim Immigrants Installation Project

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Anyone who identifies as a Muslim Immigrant in the U.S. can participate. Muslims are not a monolith and to participate in this project, you do not need to look a certain way. You do not need to be old or young, male or female, gay or straight, or be "visibly" Muslim. I want to represent the entire fabric of this community and you are encouraged to submit your ID photos just as you feel comfortable and just as you carry yourself and practice your identity.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

I already have a photo!

1- Scan your photo or take a high-resolution picture with your phone.

2- Email the photo to MuslimImmigrantsArtProject@gmail.com with the subject "ID Photo Submission."

3- If you like, you can help spread the word by tagging me on social media.

4- Thank you! :)

I don't have an ID photo but I can use my laptop:

Your photos will not be shared with anyone. I will only use them for the art project and display them in galleries and no other details will be shared. If someone does not feel comfortable with their photo in a gallery where anyone can see/photograph it, I completely understand. In that case, those people are encouraged not to submit.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help!

Peace,
